What Are Animes
Animes are japanese cartoons but they are much more bloody and gorey and naughty than american cartoons. It's amazing that japanese children aren't all demented because stuff like this is on public TV over there.

Rurouni Kenshin
Rurouni Kenshin is a anime about a wandering samurai that has vowed never to kill again. If you want the rest, read the home page. It also has a movie and some mini-series called Samurai X. They are much more bloody and gorey because they take place before Kenshin stopped killing people and people freguently get chopped in half and blood sprays everyplace and other stuff like that. |

Outlaw Star
Outlaw Star is about two people named Gene Starwind and Jim Hawking. They get a spaceship from the outlaw Hilda (along with meeting Melfina) and when she dies they keep it and name it the Outlaw Star. They eventually meet up with "Twilight" Suzuka (an assassin), Aisha Clanclan (a tiger-person), and a bunch of pirates that want to kill them. Gene also has a really cool gun called a Caster. The main plot is they are trying to find something called the Galactic Leyline. There are 26 episodes and it is the second on my anime list.

Dragon ball Z
Dragon Ball Z is about a sayian named Goku. He can fly around and shoot energy blasts from his hands and stuff like that. Basically, every body wants to kill him. Is has lots of fighting scenes and is really hard to explain to anyone who hasn't seen it. But if you like anime, you should start with this.
